HU5 - Verify TP Sensor In Range

- Key On, Engine Off.

- Access TP PID with the Scan Tool.

- Slowly move throttle from closed to Wide Open Throttle (WOT) position and observe the TP PID for smooth reading change.

- Release throttle and allow to return to fully closed position.

- While at closed throttle position, is the TP PID reading between 13% (0.66 volt) and 24% (1.20 volts)?

YES -- REMOVE Scan Tool. Go to HU6. HU6 - Check For Throttle Body Sticking, Binding, Grabbing

NO -- REMOVE Scan Tool. REPLACE throttle body assembly.
