HE83 - Check EVR For Short to PWR

- Key Off.

- EVR solenoid disconnected.

- Disconnect PCM. Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Install breakout box, leave PCM disconnected.

- Key On, Engine Off.

- Measure voltage between Test Pin 47 (EVR) and chassis ground.

- Is voltage greater than 1.0 volt?

YES -- SERVICE EVR circuit for short to PWR. RECONNECT all components. Complete PCM reset to clear DTCs. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes

NO -- GO to HE84. HE84 - Check EVR Circuit For Open In Harness
