HE2 - Induce Opposite DPFE Signal
- Key Off.
- Disconnect DPFE sensor vehicle harness connector.
- Connect a jumper wire between the sensor VREF circuit and DPFE SIG circuit at the DPFE sensor vehicle harness connector.
- Key On, Engine Off.
NOTE: If a Scan Tool error occurs, remove jumper immediately and go directly to HE3. HE3 - Measure VREF Voltage at DPFE Sensor Harness Connector
- Access DPFE PID with a Scan Tool.
- Is DPFE SIG PID value between 4.0 and 6.0 volts?
YES -- REPLACE damaged DPFE sensor. RECONNECT all components. Complete PCM reset to clear DTCs. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes
NO -- REMOVE jumper GO to HE3. HE3 - Measure VREF Voltage at DPFE Sensor Harness Connector
