H11 - Check For Shorts In the HO2S Harness Circuit



- Key Off.

- Suspect sensor disconnected.

- Disconnect PCM. Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Install breakout box, leave PCM disconnected.

- Use the following chart to measure the resistance between the appropriate test pins at the breakout box.

- DTC 0132 = HO2S-11
Test Pin 60 and Test Pins 71, 93 and 97.

- DTC 0138 = HO2S-12
Test Pin 35 and Test Pins 71, 95 and 97.

- DTC 0152 = HO2S-21
Test Pin 87 and Test Pins 71, 94 and 97.

- DTC 0158 = HO2S-22
Test Pin 61 and Test Pins 71, 96 and 97.

- Is the resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?

YES -- REMOVE breakout box. RECONNECT PCM. Go to H12. H12 - Check For HO2S Signal Short to HO2S Heater Circuit

NO -- REPAIR short in harness. REMOVE breakout box. RECONNECT all components. Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes
