FD6 - Verify Brake Switch Is Not Always Closed

- Key Off.

- Brake switch disconnected.

- Key On, Engine Off.

- Are stoplamps still On?

YES -- Go to FD7. FD7 - Check For Short to Power In PCM

NO -- VERIFY proper installation of brake switch. If OK, REPLACE switch. RECONNECT switch. Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes
