FD1 - DTC 0703: Verify Brake Pedal Was Pressed

Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 0703 indicates that when the brake pedal was pressed and released during the Key On Engine Running (KOER) Self-Test, the BOO signal did not cycle high and low.

Possible causes:
- Brake pedal not pressed and released during the KOER Self-Test.
- Brake pedal pressed during entire KOER Self-Test.
- Open to ground or power.
- Damaged brake switch.
- Damaged PCM.

- Was the brake pedal pressed and released during KOER Self-Test?

YES -- Go to FD3. FD3 - Check Operation of Stoplamps

NO -- RERUN KOER Self-Test. PRESS and RELEASE brake pedal. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes
