A6 - Check For VREF at Throttle Position (TP) Sensor

- Key Off.

- Disconnect TP sensor.

- Key On, Engine Off.

Throttle Position Sensor Connector:

- Measure voltage between VREF circuit and SIG RTN circuit at the TP sensor vehicle harness connector. Refer to the illustration.

- Is voltage between 4.0 and 6.0 volts?

YES -- RECONNECT TP sensor. Go to A7. A7 - Check FEPS Circuit For Short To Power

NO -- Go to Pinpoint Test Step C1. C1 - Check Battery Voltage
