Suspension Control Module: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
System used to automatically modify effective spring rates or suspension valving based on driving conditions.

OPERATION
Controls shock dampening of vehicle when either automatically adjusted, or when firm ride is selected by ride select switch. Module selects firm ride automatically during hard braking, acceleration, cornering and high speed. Also controls power steering assist levels based on vehicle speed.
