Seat Belt Buckle: Description and Operation
The inboard front safety belt buckle end is secured to the front safety belt buckle support (slide bar), allowing the front safety belt buckle end to move with the front seat.
- Front safety belt buckle support (slide bar) is anchored to the seat track which is anchored to the front floor pan.
- Attaching the tongue and buckle secures the outboard occupants with both lower and upper restraints.
- This tongue and belt attachment can be accomplished by a single, continuous movement.
