ML4 - Malfunction Indicator Light Never On

NOTE: If vehicle will not start, perform Pinpoint Test

- AA1, if equipped with Distributor Ignition (DI). AA1 - Identify Type of No Start

- AC1, if equipped with High Data Rate Electronic Ignition. AC1 - Attempt to Crank Engine

- Key "ON", engine "OFF".

- Measure voltage from battery negative post to "Ground" side of the MIL fuse.

- Is voltage greater than 10.5 volts?

Yes -- Go to ML6. ML6 - Check For B+ at MIL Bulb/Socket

No -- Go to ML5. ML5 - Check For B+ at MIL Fuse
