DD7 DTC 63 Check Pump Motor Speed Sensor and Circuit

NOTE: The ABS module will check the pump motor speed sensor by running the pump motor for approximately one-half second each time the ignition is switched ON and the vehicle speed reaches 30 km/h (19 mph).

- Turn ignition switch OFF.

Anti-Lock Control Module:

- Disconnect anti-lock brake wiring plug from anti-lock brake control module.

Breakout Box:

- Connect EEC-IV Breakout Box 014-00322 with Anti-Lock Test Adapter T90P-50-ALA or equivalent to the anti-lock brake wiring plug harness.

- Check resistance between breakout box pins 31 and 49.

- Is resistance between 5 and 100 ohms?

YES -- Go to DD9. DD9 Check Motor Speed Sensor Short to Battery +

NO -- Go to DD8. DD8 Check Pump Motor Speed Sensor
