Air Bag Sliding Contact (Clockspring) Assembly
The air bag sliding contact (clockspring) assembly is mounted on the steering column, behind the steering wheel. The air bag sliding contact assembly transfers electrical signals from the steering column to the steering wheel contact for the air bag system, the horn system and the speed control system.
