Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Remove timing belt.
2. Remove oil pan.
3. Remove crankshaft timing belt pulley.
4. Remove oil strainer/pickup tube.
5. Remove oil pump bolts and oil pump.

INSTALLATION
1. Clean gasket surface.
2 Install oil pump with new gasket.
3. Install oil pump retaining bolts and tighten to 14-18 ft lb. Tighten oil pickup bolts to 71-97 in lb.
4. Install crankshaft timing pulley, then install oil pan.
5. Install timing belt and covers.
