Oil Pan: Service and Repair

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Drain engine oil into a suitable container.
3. Remove frame brace bolt. Loosen righthand A-arm front bolt and pivot brace downward.
4. Disconnect front exhaust pipe from engine.
5. Remove exhaust hangers and allow exhaust system to hang supported by mechanic's wire.
6. Pry oil pan loose from cylinder block.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Torque oil pan bolts to 6-8 ft lb.
