Power Steering Pump Pulley

1. Remove drive belt.
2. Disconnect ground wire from front of cylinder head.
3. Disconnect pressure switch electrical connector from steering pump.
4. Remove pump adjusting bolts, block and nut.
5. Remove pump pivot bolt.
6. Remove pump and position on upper radiator support.
7. Hold pump pulley from rotating by installing a screwdriver through pulley holes.
8. Loosen pulley retaining nut until it becomes flush with end of pump shaft.
9. Hold pulley and tap on shaft until pulley loosens.
10. Remove nut and pulley.
11. Check pulley, belt and key for excessive wear or damage.
12. Reverse procedure to install.
