Radiator Cooling Fan Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

WARNING: Cooling fan will run if coolant temperature switch wire is disconnected and ignition switch is in RUN position. Ensure ignition switch is OFF prior to disconnecting wire.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then drain cooling system.
2. Disconnect switch connector.
3. Remove switch from thermostat housing.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Coat switch threads with Teflon(R) pipe sealant.
