REMOVAL
1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel and tire assembly.
2. Remove disc brake pads, then the caliper. Support caliper by suitable wire strung from coil spring. Do not disconnect brake line from caliper.
3. Remove grease cap, then carefully raise staked portion of locknut using small cape chisel.
4. Remove and discard locknut. Locknuts are threaded left and right. Lefthand threaded locknut is located on the righthand side of the vehicle. Turn this locknut clockwise to loosen. Righthand threaded locknut is turned counterclockwise to loosen.
5. Remove washer and outer bearing from bearing hub, then the brake rotor/bearing hub assembly.

INSTALLATION
1. Ensure bearings and hub area contain adequate lubricant, then position brake rotor/bearing hub assembly on spindle.
2. Install outer bearing, washer and new locknut. Keep hub centered on spindle to prevent damage to grease seal and spindle threads.
3. Adjust bearing preload, then install grease cap.
4. Install caliper, then the brake pads.
5. Install wheel and tire assembly.
