Resonator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Remove the air cleaner intake tube.

2. Remove the engine air intake resonator mounting bolt.

3. Remove the engine air intake resonator from inside the front fender apron.

INSPECTION

Visually inspect the engine air intake resonator for:

- Damage

- Signs of leakage

- Foreign material blockage

- Dust entry into the engine air intake resonator.

Replace the engine air intake resonator if any of the above conditions are present.

INSTALLATION

To install, reverse the removal procedure. Be sure the air cleaner intake tube is positioned correctly on top of the engine air intake resonator and that the engine air cleaner is correctly positioned on top of the air cleaner intake tube.
