Liftgate Wiper

OPERATION
With the Ignition Switch in "RUN", voltage is present at the Liftgate Washer Pump Motor and the Liftgate Wiper Motor through the REAR WIPER Fuse.

Wiper
With the innermost ring on the wiper/washer control turned to "ON", the Liftgate Wiper Switch contacts are closed, grounding the Liftgate Wiper Motor. Current flows through the REAR WIPER Fuse, the Liftgate Wiper Motor, and the Liftgate Wiper Switch to ground. The Liftgate Wiper Motor runs to operate the rear wiper arm.

Washer
With the innermost ring on the wiper/washer control held in the "WASH" position, the Liftgate Washer Switch contacts are closed, grounding the Liftgate Washer Pump Motor. Current flows through the REAR WIPER Fuse, the Liftgate Washer Pump Motor, and the Liftgate Washer Switch to ground. The Washer Pump Motor runs to power the pump.
