With Check Engine Light

1. Disconnect the jumper connecting PCM STI to ground.

2. Connect a Rotunda 88 Digital Multimeter 105-00053, or equivalent as a tachometer.

3. Run engine at 2000 rpm for three minutes.

4. Turn engine OFF, and wait 10 seconds.

5. Start engine. Run engine at idle.

Diagnostic Connector (STO/STI):






6. Jumper PCM STI on diagnostic connector to ground.

7. Record service codes.

- If no codes and sent here from Key On Engine Off (KOEO) Self Test, Switch Monitor Test

- If no codes and sent here from Erase and Retest, Scan Tool Testing and Procedures

- If codes are present, refer to Service Code Chart below.
