Marker Lamp: Description and Operation

OPERATION
Voltage is present at the coil and contacts of the Park Lamp Relay at all times through the TAIL Fuse.

With the Main Light Switch in "PARK" or "HEAD", the Park Lamp Relay coil is grounded. The coil energizes and the Relay contacts close. Current flows through the TAIL Fuse, the Park Lamp Relay, the I/P Fuse Panel, Park Lamps, Side Marker Lamps, and License Lamps to ground. The Lamps illuminate.

A "lamps on" input is provided to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
