Horn: Description and Operation

OPERATION
Voltage is present at the horn relay coil and contacts at all times through the horn fusible link cartridge.

Pressing on the steering wheel horn pad closes the horn switch contacts, grounding the horn relay coil. The coil is energized and the relay contacts close. Current flows through the horn fusible link cartridge, the horn relay contacts, and the horn to ground. The horn sounds.
