With Manual Transmission

OPERATION
With the Ignition Switch in "START" or "RUN", voltage is present at the Backup/Upshift Switch through the METER Fuse.

When the transaxle is shifted into "REVERSE", current flows through the METER Fuse, the Backup/Upshift Switch contacts, and the Backup Lamps to ground. The Backup Lamps illuminate.
