Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. On 1.8L/4-110 models, remove the resonance duct from the radiator ISO-mounts.
3. On all models, disconnect cooling fan electrical connector.
4. Remove three radiator shroud attaching bolts from radiator, then lift shroud and fan motor assembly out from vehicle.
5. Remove cooling fan retainer clip, then the fan from motor.
6. Disconnect cooling fan motor electrical harness retainers, then remove harness from retainers.
7. Remove cooling fan motor attaching screws, then the motor from shroud.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
