Drive Belt

Removal
1. Remove track assembly.
2. Remove two screws retaining front A-pillar switch bracket to track assembly.
3. Gently slide shoulder belt retainer forward off track.

NOTE: Drive belt should slide out of track with shoulder belt retainer.

Upper Anchor Assembly:





4. Remove shoulder belt retainer from drive belt.

Installation
1. Position the drive belt to the track assembly as follows:
a. Rounded end (rear) of the drive belt to the front end of the track.
b. Tapered end (front) of the drive belt must be on the same side of track as the lock-out switch.
c. While inserting the drive belt into the track, lubricate both sides with Lithium/Teflon Grease E7FZ- 19590-A (ESB-M1C111-A) or equivalent.

2. Apply Lithium/Teflon Grease E7FZ-19590-A (ESB-M1C111-A) or equivalent to the upper channel of the track, prior to installing the shoulder belt carrier into the large slot at the front end of the belt.





3. Slide the drive belt into the track rearward until the end is located approximately 12.7 mm (1/2 inch) in the track's lower channel.

NOTE: Prior to installing the A-pillar limit switch bracket to the track assembly, apply Thread lock and Sealer EOAZ-19554-AA (ESE-M4G204-A) or equivalent to the two retaining screws. Tighten the screws to 7-11 Nm (5-8 lb-ft).

4. Install limit switch and retaining screws.









5. Install track assembly.

NOTE: Use new screw N804772-S190 following any service done to shoulder harness.
