Removal
1. Remove safety belt anchor-to-sill bolt and rubber washer.
2. Slip finger behind D-ring cover and pull bottom of cover toward center of vehicle to dislodge it. Lift up to remove cover, exposing belt attaching bolt and remove bolt.

NOTE: Removal of the front seat is not necessary for this operation.

3. Remove quarter trim panel.
4. Remove retractor mounting bolt. Remove outboard belt assembly.





Installation
1. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Position belts as shown.
2. Tighten all retaining bolts to 30-40 Nm (23-29 lb-ft). Cycle system several times to ensure proper operation of retractor. Ensure safety belt is not twisted.
