Fuel Injector Wiring Harness: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

NOTE: Ensure ignition switch is in OFF position.

1. Remove throttle body.

2. Disconnect electrical connectors from fuel injectors.

3. Disconnect connectors from main wiring harness and throttle position sensor, intake air temperature sensor and idle air control valve.

4. Remove fuel charging wiring harness assembly.

INSTALLATION

1. Position fuel charging wiring harness alongside fuel injector.

2. Snap electrical connectors into position on fuel injectors.

3. Install throttle body.

4. Verify all electrical connectors are firmly seated.

5. Use data link connector (DLC) and procedure to check for sensor function.
