Left Side

1. Relieve fuel system pressure.
2. Remove oil dipstick tube support bracket, then disconnect spark plug wires.
3. Raise and support vehicle, then remove exhaust pipe to manifold attaching nuts, then lower vehicle.
4. Remove exhaust manifold attaching bolts, then the manifold.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Lightly lubricate bolts and nuts with oil.
b. Torque manifold attaching bolts to 15-22 ft lb.
c. Torque exhaust pipe attaching nuts to 16-24 ft lb.
d. Torque dipstick tube support bracket attaching nut to 15-22 ft lb.
