Valve Clearance: Adjustments

This engine is equipped with hydraulic lifters. No adjustments are required. If any valve train component is replaced or if valve train components become intermixed, valve clearance will have to be inspected. Using a suitable pry bar, apply pressure to the push rod side of the rocker arm until hydraulic lifter has bled down and bottomed out. Ensure clearance between valve stem and rocker arm is between 0.085 and 0.185 inch.
