Refer to Fig. 41, for models with 2.5L/4-153 and 3.0L/V6-182 engines, Fig. 42, for models with 3.0L/V6-182 and 3.8L/V6-232 engines and Fig. 43, for models with 3.2L/V6-195 SHO engine.
1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove radiator sight shield.
2. Disconnect fan motor wiring connector.
3. Remove bolts attaching fan and shroud assembly to radiator.
4. On models with 2.5L/4-153 and 3.0L/V6-182 engines, rotate fan and shroud assembly, then lift past radiator.
5. Remove fan U-spring retainer from motor shaft, then the fan.
6. Remove fan motor to shroud bolts, then remove motor.
7. On models with 3.2L/V6-195 and 3.8L/V6-232 engines, slide cooling fan module clear of radiator hose connector, then lift past radiator.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
