High Engine Idle Speed

CONDITION

- High engine idle speed.

POSSIBLE SOURCE

- Cable ball socket extends beyond the throttle lever ball stud when cable is disconnected from throttle lever.

- Restricted foot pedal operation.

- Worn or damaged cable.

- Refer to the throttle body diagnosis procedure.

- Adjust carpet, floor mat or wiring as required.

ACTION

- Go to Test C. Test C
