Accelerator Pedal: Service and Repair

REMOVAL and INSTALLATION

1. Using a suitable tool, push the accelerator cable nylon bushing, from back side of arm, out of the accelerator pedal arm.

2. Remove the accelerator pedal and shaft retaining nuts.

3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten accelerator pedal and shaft retaining nuts to 14-20 Nm (10-15 lb ft) and check pedal for smooth operation.
