Engine Cooling Fan Motor Wiring Harness Circuit Protection Modification

Kit CC Designated Vehicles

Vehicles Affected:
1992-1993 3.8L Taurus/Sable

Required Parts:
F3DZ-14A003-BA

Installation Procedure:

1. Open hood.

2. Disconnect battery negative cable.

3. Locate High Current Power Distribution Box in engine compartment at the left rear near the dash panel. Remove, mutilate and discard the Power Distribution Box Cover.

4. Remove the # 4 fuse (60 Amp - engine cooling fan motor) and replace it with the supplied 50 Amp Maxifuse.

5. Install supplied High Current Power Distribution Box Cover.

6. Connect battery negative cable.

7. Check engine cooling fan motor for proper operation.

8. Close hood.

9. Apply supplied sticker onto appropriate page of Owner Guide as follows:
