CAUTION: When installing deflated air springs on the vehicle, lower the hoist as required. Do not apply any load to the suspension until the springs have been inflated for at least 90 seconds.1. Support frame so rear wheels are off ground with no load applied to rear suspension.
2. Air suspension switch must be ON.
3. Ignition switch must be ON and the engine running,or a battery charger must be connected to battery to reduce battery drain.
Diagnostic Connector:
4. Fold back RH luggage compartment trim panel carpet and connect Rotunda Super STAR II Tester 007-00041-A or equivalent, to air suspension diagnostic connector.
5. Set Super STAR II tester to EEC-IV/MCU mode. Also set Super STAR II tester to FAST mode. Release STAR tester button to HOLD (up) position and turn tester ON.
6. Depress STAR Tester button to TEST (down) position. A Code 10 will be displayed. Within two minutes a Code 13 will be displayed. After Code 13 is displayed, release tester button to HOLD (up) position, wait two seconds and depress tester button to TEST (down) position. Ignore any codes displayed.
7. Release tester button to the HOLD (up) position. Wait at least 20 seconds, then depress tester button to the TEST (down) position. Within 10 seconds, the following STAR codes will start to be displayed in the order shown.

8. Within four seconds after Code 26 is displayed, release tester button to the HOLD (up) position. Waiting longer than four seconds may result in Functional Test 31 being entered. The compressor will fill the air springs with air as long as the test button is in the HOLD (up) position. To stop filling the air springs, depress the tester button to the TEST (down) position.
NOTE: It is possible to overheat the compressor during this operation. If the compressor overheats, the self-resetting circuit breaker in the compressor will open and remain open for about 15 minutes. This allows the compressor to cool down.
9. To exit Functional Test 26, disconnect the STAR tester and turn the ignition switch OFF.
