Front Lap/Shoulder Safety Belt and Retractor Assembly

REMOVAL

Special Tool
Seat Belt Bolt Bit T77L-2100-A or equivalent






1. Remove trim covering safety belt assembly.
2. Remove anchor bolt and rubber washer.
3. Remove belt guide and retaining screw.
4. Remove retractor bolt.
5. Remove D-ring nut and remove retractor half of belt assembly.
6. Remove anchor bolt from buckle half of safety belt. (On LH belt, disconnect chime wire.)

INSTALLATION
1. Route buckle half of outboard safety belt and one-half of inboard belt through the seat grommet. Attach outboard buckle to stud located on seat track. Tighten nut to 60-90 Nm (44-66 ft lbs). Repeat for opposite side if complete center belt is affected. (On LH belt, connect chime wire.) Install center belt on stud located on floor. Install retaining nuts on floor with track. Tighten to 60-90 Nm (44-66 ft lbs).
2. Install D-ring bolt. Tighten to 30-40 Nm (23-29 ft lbs).
3. Install retractor bolt and tighten to 30-40 Nm (23-29 ft lbs).
4. Install belt guide and retaining bolt.
5. Install anchor bolt and rubber washer. Tighten bolt to 30-40 Nm (23-29 ft lbs).
6. Install trim.
