The various major assemblies in the air bag system have been designed to be tamper-resistant and are not intended to be disassembled for service. Component assemblies may be removed and replaced as required. Warning labels for the air bag are shown. Information on proper handling, storage, and disposal of the air bag inflator assemblies is provided. Disposal Procedures

NOTE: When replacing an air bag, a prepaid return postcard is provided with the replacement air bag module. The serial number for the new part and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) must be recorded and sent to Ford Motor Company.
