C7 - Check For SPOUT Continuity to ICM

^ Key off.

^ DVOM on 200 ohm scale.

^ Install a second breakout box to the vehicle harness connector.

^ Measure resistance between J45 (SPOUT I) at breakout box and Pin 36 at the second breakout box.

^ Is resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

YES -- Replace PCM. SPOUT is not being transmitted by the PCM. Remove all test equipment. Reconnect all components. Clear continuous memory. Rerun quick test.

NO -- Check connectors, service or replace harness. SPOUT is open. Remove all test equipment. Reconnect all components. Clear continuous memory. Rerun quick test.
