Exterior Lighting
OPERATIONVoltage is present at the Main Light Switch at all times through Fuse 9 and circuit 195 (T/W).
With the Main Light Switch in "PARK" or "HEAD", current flows through Fuse 9, the Main Light Switch and circuit 14 to the I/P Cigar Lighter Lamp, the Clock, the LCD Dimming Relay, the Electric Brake Controller Connector, the Trailer Exterior Lamps Relay and the exterior lamps. The I/P Cigar Lighter Lamp and the exterior lamps illuminate. The voltage applied to the Clock causes the Clock display to dim. The voltage applied to the LCD Dimming Relay energizes the Relay to dim the Radio LCD display. The voltage applied to the Trailer Exterior Lamps Relay energizes the Relay to power trailer running lamps.
Voltage can also be applied to circuit 14 (BR) through the Autolamp Dual Coil Relay to power these same components.
