Owner Notification Program 93B21 - Certain 1993 Model Year Town Car, Crown Victoria, and Grand Marquis Cars Equipped With Traction Assist.

PARTS RETURN - Yes
PROGRAM TIMING - Through basic vehicle warranty or through September 30,
1994, whichever provides greater coverage.

AFFECTED VEHICLES
Certain 1993 Model Year Town Cars with traction assist built from November 22, 1992, through December 15, 1992. Also certain 1993 Model Year Crown Victoria and Grand Marquis cars with traction assist built from November 19, 1992, through December 15, 1992.

REASONS FOR THIS PROGRAM
On some of these cars the Electronic Control Unit (ECU), will not allow the traction assist to be activated. The anti-lock brake function (ABS) is not affected.

SERVICE ACTION
To correct this condition, the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) will be inspected and, if necessary, replaced.

REFUNDS
Only for owner-paid repairs made before date of Owner Letter.
