Engine Mount: Service and Repair

NOTE: Whenever self-locking mounting bolts and nuts are removed, they must be replaced with new self-locking bolts and nuts.

1. Remove fan shroud attaching screws.
2. Support engine using a suitable jack with a wooden block placed under oil pan.
3. Remove nut and through bolt attaching insulator to frame crossmember.
4. Disconnect shift linkage, as required.
5. Raise engine slightly, then remove insulator and heat shield, if equipped.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
