Speed Control/Horn Brush Contact Plate

1. Remove horn cover and pad assembly by pulling up on upper middle edge.
2. Disconnect two horn wires from terminals on cover pad, then loosen steering wheel retaining bolt four to six turns.
3. Using steering wheel puller tool No. T67L-3600-A or equivalent, pull steering wheel upward until steering wheel is loose on shaft.
4. Remove and discard steering wheel bolt.
5. Remove steering wheel.
6. With steering wheel facing down, remove three speed control and horn brush contact plate to steering wheel retaining bolts.
7. Disconnect speed control wiring harness from contact plate terminal and remove contact plate.
8. Reverse procedure to install, ensure slip rings are covered with Speed Control Slip Ring Grease No. E8AZ-19590-A or equivalent and torque steering wheel retaining bolt to 23-33 ft. lbs.
