Reactivation Procedure

Reactivation Procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Wait one minute for backup power supply to deplete stored energy.

WARNING: THE AIR BAG SIMULATOR MUST BE REMOVED AND THE AIR BAG RECONNECTED BEFORE THE SYSTEM IS REACTIVATED.

3. Remove the Rotunda Air Bag Simulator 105-0008 from the vehicle harness at the top of the steering column. Reconnect the driver air bag connector. Position the driver air bag module assembly on the steering wheel and secure it with the four bolts (10 mm). Tighten the bolts to 2.7-3.7 N.m (24-34 lb-in).
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
5. Prove out the system.
