Wastegate Solenoid: Testing and Inspection

Turbo Boost Control Solenoid Valve Electrical Connector:

1. Remove small air tube from turbo inlet air hose.
2. Disconnect boost control solenoid valve electrical connector.
3. Blow through air tube and check for no airflow.
4. Apply 12V to solenoid valve electrical connector.
5. Blow through air tube and check for airflow.
6. If not, replace solenoid valve.
