Fuel Pressure Control Solenoid: Description and Operation
Exhaust Gas Recirculation Solenoid Vacuum Valve:
The Fuel Pressure Regulator Control (PRC) solenoid is controlled by the PCM. Under specified conditions, the PCM closes the PRC solenoid and vacuum is blocked to the fuel pressure regulator. This action increases fuel rail pressure, preventing fuel percolation that may cause hard hot engine restarts.
