Ball Joint, Lower

This procedure has been altered by a factory service bulletin.

Secure ball joint bracket into a vise. Thread ball joint attaching nut onto ball joint stud until nut bottoms out on stud. Install a torque wrench onto nut and measure torque required to keep stud in motion. Correct turning torque should be 14-25 ft. lbs.
