Wide-Open Throttle Position

1. First adjust cable deflection.
2. Have an assistant press accelerator pedal to floor.
3. Verify that throttle plate is in wide open position while pedal is pressed to floor.
4. If throttle plate is not in wide open position, have assistant keep accelerator pressed to floor while you adjust cable bracket locknuts. Adjust until throttle plate is wide-open.
5. Release pedal. Verify throttle plate is completely closed.
