Evaporative Check Valve: Description and Operation

Two-Way Check Valve:

PURPOSE
The Two-Way Check Valve releases excessive pressure or vacuum in the fuel tank, equalizing pressure to prevent tank damage.

LOCATION
In-line between charcoal canister and fuel tank.

OPERATION
When preset vacuum or pressure specifications are reached, valve permits air to pass into or out of the fuel tank to equalizing pressure.
