Reason for Recall
The Air Bag Warning Instruction label in the French language was not installed, behind the driver's sunvisor onto the headliner, on the affected vehicles. Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS No. 208) - Seat Belt Installations - requires the manufacturer to have the Instruction label installed on vehicles in both English and French.

Action
To correct this condition, a French language "Air Bag Warning Instruction" label and installation instructions will be mailed to the vehicle owner for installation or, the owner at his/her option may have the dealer service personnel install the label. Labels for vehicles not reported sold on the enclosed listing, will be mailed to the ordering dealer.

If additional labels are required, refer to Attachment II of this bulletin.
