Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

Air Induction System:

1. Remove air cleaner clean air flex hose.
2. Disconnect electrical connector from sensor.
3. Remove four retaining screws.
4. Carefully remove sensor. Discard gasket.


INSTALLATION


1. Position sensor with new gasket onto air cleaner cover.
2. Install four retaining screws. Tighten to 25 in lb (3.5 Nm).
3. Install air inlet flex hose.
4. Connect electrical connector to sensor.
5. Start engine and check for vacuum leaks.
