NOTE: You should enter this Pinpoint Test only when you have been directed here from Quick Test or from Pinpoint Test C, DC, PA, or PB.


REMEMBER


To prevent the replacement of good components, be aware that the following non-EEC areas may be at fault.

- Fuel system

- Fuel Contamination

- A/C system

- Starting/charging system


This Pinpoint Test is intended to diagnose only the following:

- Integrated Relay Control Module (IRCM)

EEC Power Relay

EDF Relay

HEDF Relay

WAC Relay

- Harness circuits: VBAT, Key PWR, PWR GND, FP, EDF, HEDF, A/C, WAC

- Processor assembly



DESCRIPTION

The Integrated Relay Control Module (IRCM) interfaces with the EEC-IV system to provide control for the cooling fan, A/C clutch and fuel pump. The IRCM also contains the EEC power relay which provides vehicle power (VPWR) to the EEC-IV processor.
